Ok so I left off before Bangkok adventures for two days. Jules and I decided to limit our time in Bangkok. We really thought we would like Chiang Mai and Krabi, so we decided to maximize our time there, and limit elsewhere. And we were correct in our assumptions, I am happy to say! Bangkok was cool, but it wasn't anything that special. I mean, Wat Arun (the main temple) was absolutely breathtaking. I mean, breathtaking (except for the fact that the steps were so steep, I basically pulled my hamstring coming down cause I was tensing my body for dear life...). So, it was worth it just to see that place. I mean, the amazing construction work that had to have taken place to create that masterpiece of a temple was just mind-bottling (you know like when it feels like you're shaking your mind, like in a bottle...HOLLA blades of glory reference, you're welcome world). Also, it is important to note that before we visited the temple, we had a full four hour spa treatment, complete with herbal steam, body scrub, body mask, massage, and facial. And it cost around 130USD. Can't. Deal.
So that was literally all we did in Bangkok. We also stayed at a pretty bangin AirBnb. I mean, it wasn't SUPER convenient location wise, but it was like a high rise apartment and was pretty modern and oh so clean. And the shower was SO NICE.
Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Next we headed off for Hanoi, Vietnam and to meet Deborah, henceforth to be known as lil debs.
I've become distracted by facetime, this post will continue later.
